first_imgThe Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine,College of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to conductresearch in mucosal immunology in the laboratory of Dr. JenniferMulligan. The primary responsibility of this position is to conductstudies with human samples as well as murine models to gain abetter understating of the immunopathology of chronic sinusitis andits interplay with other comorbidities such as asthma and olfactoryloss. A significant focus of the laboratory is to better understandthe role of epithelial cell dysfunction in chronic airwayinflammation. The selected individual will receive strong mentoringto promote scientific growth and development.Ph.D. degree in immunology or equivalent with experience workingwith mouse models, tissue culture and/or human clinical samples.Successful applications must be able to work as a member of aresearch team composed of scientist, clinicians, students, clinicalresearch coordinators and industry partners. The candidate shouldhave the ability to individually implement and conduct experiments.Technical expertise in advanced flow cytometry and cell sorting isrequired. A proven record of verbal and written communication isnecessary.
